Retention application granted for unfinished development in Doughiska

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Planning permission has been retained for an unfinished housing development in Fionnuisce in Doughiska.

Proposed works include the retention of existing block locations, elevational changes and modifications for the completion of blocks C, D and E.

This totals 44 apartments.

City planners granted retention subject to 15 conditions.

One of these stipulates that the developer pays over 617 thousand euro to the City Council towards the provision of public services.

This may be waived for social housing units.
