Result stands for Athenry/Oranmore LEA

An overnight call for a complete recount in the Athenry/Oranmore area was withdrawn today by Fianna Fáil candidate, Cathal Moran, which means that last night’s result stands as originally declared.

That means thee seven candidates are in order of election are: Peter Feeney (FG) who topped the poll, Jim Cuddy (Ind), Malachy Noone (FF), James Charity (Ind) Frank Kearney (FG), Gabriel Cronnelly (SF) and Martina Kinane (FF).
