Restaurant group to open in Salthill with creation of 35 jobs

A Dublin-based catering and restaurant company is to open a new premises in Salthill with the creation of 35 jobs.
Gourmet Food Parlour has announced plans to expand its operations to Salthill and Skerries with the creation of 100 new jobs.
The company first opened in 2006 in Swords, Dublin and have gone on to open an additional seven locations across Dublin employing over 240 staff.
The new base in Lenaboy Gardens, Salthill will be the group’s first premises outside of Dublin and is scheduled to open in October.
Gourmet Food Parlour’s Managing Director is Barna native Lorraine Heskin, who formed the company with her business partner Lorraine Byrne.
Minister for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection Pat Breen T.D. said: “I would like to congratulate Gourmet Food Parlour on their tremendous success to date. Their experience serves to highlight how a strong enterprising spirit and a commitment to quality produce can lead to great business success. I wish them well in their future expansion plans.”
