REPRIEVE FOR CITY DRUG DEALER

A reforming city drug dealer and addict avoided a two-year prison sentence this week.

He availed of a chance given to him by a Circuit Court judge earlier this year to come off drugs and drink prior to sentencing.

37 year-old Keith Diviney, of 32 Emmet Avenue, Mervue, pleaded guilty last March to being found in possession of cocaine and cannabis resin, which were for sale or supply to others, at his home on February 24, 2009.
