REPORTS OF VOLCANIC ASH FALLING IN GALWAY

Ash from the volcano in Iceland has reportedly fallen in Galway.

The particles have been falling since midnight and are said to look like particles of sand.

Mét Eireann says they have not yet received any reports of ash in Galway.

However, scientists at the Centre for Climate and Air Pollution at NUI Galway say the current pollution level remains low.
