RENMORE SUSPICIOUS DEATH LIKELY TO BE UPGRADED TO MURDER

The State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy has carried out a preliminary post-mortem examination on the body of a woman in her twenties found in Renmore today.

The woman, who’s not believed to be local, was found in rough scrub-land by a passer-by between Lakeshore Drive in Renmore and Ceannt Railway Station at 9.30 this morning.

The garda investigation is likely to be upgraded to a murder investigation following the full post-mortem results.
