RENEWED CALLS FOR BALLYBANE GARDA SUB OFFICE

There have been renewed calls by Ballybane residents for the opening of a Garda sub-office in the area.

Cllr. Declan Mc Donell says the joint policing board should fund a Ballybane sub-office until the new Garda divisional Headquarters are ready.

Cllr. Mc Donell says that offices have already been assigned for a Garda sub-office in the Ballybane Resource centre and he is calling on the City Council and the Department of Justice to follow through with the project.
