RELIGIOUS LEADERS AND REPRESENTATIVES TO DESCEND ON GALWAY

Religious leaders from all over the world will descend on the city this weekend for the Galway Inter-faith Alliance.

The weekend festival will commemorate the Life and Work of Mahatma Ghandi and begins at 2pm tomorrow [Sat] at St. Nicholas Collegiate Church.

There will be readings of selected writings from Ghandi about non-violent ways of resolving conflict with Indian music and food.

On Sunday at 3pm in the Menlo Park Hotel there will be further presentations about the use of non-violence in the pursuit of social justice in Palestine.
