Rediscovering childhood fun with Baboró

Baboró International Arts Festival for Children kicks off this Monday, October 16, and in a packed programme, The Peter Pan Experience promises to be a highlight.

From Dutch children’s theatre company Het Laagland, the show tells the story of five adults who suddenly find themselves back in the world of childhood. But they’ve forgotten how to play and are haunted by toys who jolt them out of their everyday lives.

The five adults include a politician and two businesswomen who begin to rediscover the magic that’s still inside them.

Lively music, storytelling, dance and special effects all feature in a quirky, high-energy show that is suitable for all the family and promises for multiple belly-laughs.

The Peter Pan Experience will be one of Baboró’s main shows next weekend. It will be at the Black Box Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, at 2.30 and 5.30pm both days. The running time is 65 minutes and it’s suitable for all ages from 7+.
