RED ARROWS ACKNOWLEDGE OPPOSITION TO CITY AIR DISPLAY

The Royal Airforce has acknowledged local opposition to the flyover by their Red Arrows in the city this Saturday at 11.30am.

In a statement to Galway Bay fm News, a spokesperson for the air display team says “that they recognise the right for people to demonstrate their feelings”.

The RAF was responding to reports of a planned protest by the Galway Alliance Against War, who want to release 99 balloons around the same time as the flyover.
