RECRUITMENT FIRM SAYS GALWAY JOBS GROWTH IS GOOD

Jobs are becoming more plentiful in Galway.

That’s according to Collins McNicholas, the national recruitment and HR Services Organisation, which has carried out a survey of its 5 Irish offices.

It revealed a 40 percent growth in jobs registered in Galway for the first half of this year.

The biggest increase in jobs in Galway between January and June, was in the medical devices, automotive and general manufacturing sectors.

Michelle Murphy, Regional Manager for Galway with Collins McNicholas says they’re confident the trend will continue for the second half of 2010.
