RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR 220 INVERIN JOBS
Date Published: 18-Apr-2012
A recruitment drive is to get underway shortly for 220 new positions at a global pharmacuetical company in Connemara.
It follows the announcement earlier today of a 380 million euro investment in Ireland over the next five years by Mylan – one of the world’s leading generic and speciality pharmacuetical companies.
The hi-tech jobs will be created at Bioniche Teoranta at Kilroe in East Inverin where 160 are already employed at the Udaras na Gaeltachta Industrial Estate.
A further 280 jobs will be created by the company in Dublin.
A briefing is to be held at 6pm [Apr 18] at the Inverin plant by Senior Management on the local jobs being created.
Chief Executive of Mylan Heather Bresch says Galway provided the necessary skillset for the expansion.
