RECORD NUMBER OF PATIENTS ON TROLLEYS AT UHG

A record number of 44 people were on trolleys at University Hospital Galway’s casualty department overnight.

252 people sought help at the department yesterday.

The Irish Nurses Organisation claims it’s the highest ever number members have had to deal with.

The HSE has confirmed 41 people are currently waiting on trolleys at the A & E Department.
