RECORD NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS FOR JOBS AT CITY GAMING GIANT

15 hundred job applications have been received to date for the 300 jobs on offer at city gaming giant Electronic Arts.

Last month, the firm which is one of the biggest gaming companies in the world, announced the expansion of its Galway Customer Experience Centre of Excellence.

The level of local and national interest in the new roles was unveiled as EA’s Chief Operations Office, Peter Moore, launched a new support strategy in the Parkmore facility last evening.

The firm initially set up its base at Parkmore West in September 2011 and already employs around 400 people there.
