RECEIVERS TO BRIEF STAFF AT CITY BASED CURLEY’S FURNITURE CHAIN

Staff at Galway firm Curley’s Furniture and Carpets Limited are being contacted by receivers today to discuss their employment status.

It’s after Grant Thornton seized control of stock at the Ballybrit furniture chain which has now ceased trading.

The firm which has its headquarters in Briarhill also has stores in Craughwell, Sligo, Clare and Kilkenny where it’s estimated a total of 80 people are employed.
