Receivers put unfinished homes on online auction
Five unfinished homes on the eastern side of the city are set to be sold by receivers next month in an online auction with a €900,000 guide price.
The three apartments and two houses are part of the Coill Tíre development in Doughiska and are being brought to the market by receivers appointed by the US vulture fund Oaktree Capital.
The units were developed and owned by a company called Pinearch Properties, operated by Paul and David O’Brien from Limerick.
The apartments (2 three-bed and 1 two-bed) are in a block of ten similar units on ground and first floor and are ready for first fixing.
There are also two unfinished three-bed semi-detached houses which are ready for first fix. They site on a site of around a half-acre where there was previous planning for ten homes.
The properties form part of one lot with a guide price of €900,000 and will be part of an online auction on May 7 held by BidX1 and joint agents DNG Maxwell, Heaslip and Leonard.
