RACING ABANDONED AT GALWAY RACECOURSE AS MORE RAIN PROMISED

Racing has been abandoned at the Racecourse in Ballybrit due to heavy rainfall.

A decision was initially made this morning to cancel today’s meeting due to heavy overnight rainfall, however management at the Racecourse have now decided to cancel tomorrow’s meeting aswell.

The racecourse is waterlogged after 25 millimetres of rain overnight, with more expected this evening and tonight.
