PUBLIC TO CONSIDER CLAREGALWAY INNER RELIEF ROAD ROUTES

A public consultation on proposed routes for the Claregalway Inner Relief Road will take place in Claregalway this week.

It comes in the wake of comments made by the Transport Minister that there would be no new road projects carried out next year.

It was hoped that the Claregalway bypass would go to an oral hearing soon but it’s now up in the air after Minister Leo Varadkar’s comments.

Project engineers will make a presentation to the public at the Claregalway Hotel between 4 and 8pm on Wednesday.
