PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS HOUSING FOR BALLYMONEEN ROAD

Residents of Ballymoneen road in the city have called an emergency meeting tonight to discuss the City Council’s plans to build 100 social and affordable houses in their area.

Carmel Keane, a concerned resident, says that the surrounding area’s infrastructure is inadequate to facilitate such a large-scale development.

A meeting will be held in Kelehans in Bushypark at 8 o’ clock tonight to thrash out the issue
