A public information session will be held this evening in Athenry to discuss Ash die-back disease.

The disease affects the native Ash tree and has been of major concern to forestry experts since it was discovered in a number of young forestry plantations.

This evening’s meeting will be held in the Teagasc centre in Athenry from 8, and will address the consequences for forestry grant aid.
