PUBLIC MEETING ON NEW CITY AMENITY AND RECREATION PLAN

Galway City Council is asking local residents, community groups and sporting organisations for their input on a new Galway city Amenity needs study.

The study is the end result of an extensive assessment of the city’s open spaces, sports grounds and water-based facilities.

The study targets areas for improvement based on the city’s current and future amenity and recreation needs.

Members of the public are invited to have their say on the draft study at a “drop in” clinic on Thursday week the 12th of July in City Hill.
