PUBLIC MEETING IN OUGHTERARD TO DISCUSS NEW PLAYGROUND

A public meeting to discuss ideas and plans for a playground in Oughterard takes place tonight (tues feb 17th)

Residents are now eager to proceed with the playground at Corribdale Grounds which was recently granted planning permission by Galway County Council.

The ‘Oughterard Playground Committee’ meeting takes place in the Boat Inn, in Oughterard at 8 o’ clock.

Independent councillor and committee member Thomas Welby, says they’re looking for parents to tell them what equipment is needed for the playground
