PUBLIC MEETING IN GALWAY ON IRISH LANGUAGE STRATEGY

Galway people will have an opportunity to discuss the Government’s 20 year Irish Language strategy next week.

The Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs is organising a public meeting in the Ardilaun Hotel, Taylor’s Hill on Tuesday (13/5) chaired by head of TG4 Pól Ó Gallchóir.

The 20-year Irish Language strategy set up in 2006 commits the Government to achieving 13 goals.
