Public consultation in Galway on future services for autism
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Members of the Galway public are being urged to play a part in planning the future direction of service provision for those with autism.
The Irish Centre for Autism and Neurodevelopment Research at NUIG has partnered with Trinity College in Dublin to develop an Irish Autism Registry and Biobank.
A regional consultation meeting will be held at NUIG in the Fottrell Theatre in the Arts Millenium Building at 7 this evening (Jan 28).
Dr. Geraldine Leader of the ICAN centre at NUIG says the registry will serve as a national resource for various research areas.
