Public consultation for Dunkellin River flood relief scheme
Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public meeting to discuss the Dunkellin River and Aggard Stream Flood Relief scheme will take place in Craughwell next week.
The engineering design and environmental assessments are currently being finalised.
The public consultation will focus on revisions to the Benefit to Cost assessment, which has been agreed with the Office of Public Works.
Fianna Fail Councillor for Loughrea, Gerry Finnerty, says it will be at least a year before the scheme gets underway.
