Psychiatric nurse jailed for assault with syringe at UHG

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A psychiatric nurse has been sentenced to twelve months in prison for assaulting another nurse with a syringe at University Hospital Galway.
48 year old, Kofi Kankam of 15 The Clarin, Athenry, denied a charge of assaulting Emer Hyland, causing her harm, at the Psychiatric Unit at UHG, on February 5th last year.
