PROTEST PASSES OFF PEACEFULLY AT NUIG DEBATE

Protesters at a controversial NUI Galway debate last night remained peaceful despite fears that they WOULD interfere with proceedings.

Over 20 protestors armed with placards, chanted outside the Kirwan theatre where the debate between Minister Eamon O’ Cuív and student representatives took place last night.
