PROPOSEDL TOLL ON TUAM MOTORWAY DESCRIBED AS MADNESS

Imposing tolls on Galway roads is "simply madness and a plan that defies logic".

That’s according to MEP Jim Higgins who is criticising the National Roads Authority’s proposals to introduce new tolls on Galway motorways.

The NRA’s pre-budget report suggests a toll on all new major road schemes including the Gort to Tuam road.
