PROPOSAL FOR ORANMORE FLOOD DESIGNATION REJECTED

Galway County Councillors have rejected a proposal to designate an area in the middle of Oranmore town as a flood risk location.

The matter came up for discussion during consideration of the Oranmore Development Plan at this week’s county council meeting.
