PROGRESS ON GLENAMADDY SEWERAGE SCHEME

Glenamaddy is one step closer to getting an upgraded sewerage scheme

Consultants have been appointed and are preparing contract documents for the development of the new scheme in the town

There has been an ongoing campaign for the work as the current scheme is no longer capable of servicing the area

The latest stage of the plans which are expected to cost several million euro was announced at this weeks meeting of Galway county council

Glenamaddy councillor Tiernan Walsh is hopeful the work will be carried out in 2009
