PROGRESS IN SOURCING FOUL SMELL IN EASTERN AREAS OF CITY

It now seems the source of the foul smell from the Wellpark Discharge Chamber is from sewage pipes controlled by Galway County Council

This stench has been the bane of peoples lives in the Wellpark, Mervue and Renmore areas for the last four years

Cllr Mary Leahy has now written to the County Council calling on them to carry out similar investigations and take steps to end this ongoing foul odour
