PRISON FOR MERVUE MAN FOR 2 SEXUAL ASSAULTS

A 43 year old Mervue man who sexually assaulted two women asleep in separate bedrooms following a farewell party they had hosted in his honour has been sentenced to 8 months in prison.

Des Nelson, 19 Pearse Avenue, Mervue pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting both women at an apartment block in another part of the city on July 13 last year.
