PRESIDENT MCALEESE TO VISIT CITY, MOYCULLEN, OUGHTERARD

President of Ireland, Mary McAleese will visit Galway later this week for a number of engagements.

President McAleese will begin her trip on Friday by visiting the Clann Family Resource Centre and the Community Centre in Oughterard at 11am.

From there, she will pay a visit to Tooreeny National School in Moycullen.

At 2.30 on Friday afternoon, President McAleese will launch the new Prostate Cancer Institute at NUIG.

The President’s last engagement in Galway will be to receive the prestigious President’s Medal from the Literary and Debating Society at NUIG.
