President Higgins to attend Galway lecture by Princeton Professor

Galway Bay fm newsroom – President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, will attend a lecture by a professor from Princeton University in Galway next week.
The lecture about the history of liberty is part of President Higgins’ Ethics Initiative.
Professor Philip Pettit, who’s originally from Ballygar, is one of the foremost contemporary philosophers and political theorists.
The lecture, which is organised by NUIG’s School of Political Science and Sociology, will take place at the Aula Maxima on campus at 4p.m next Tuesday.
