PREPARATIONS FOR HORSE CORTEGE FROM CLAREGALWAY HOME OF YOUNG JOCKEY

Hundreds of mourners from the racing community are gathering in Claregalway this lunchtime to salute tragic teenage jockey Jamie Kyne.

Up to 18 horses will lead the cortege on his final journey from the family home at Kiltrogue Stud Farm at about 2.30pm to Lackagh Mortuary Chapel.

18 year old Jamie Kyne and Scottish apprentice Jan Wilson were killed in a suspected arson attack at the block of flats in which they were staying in North Yorkshire on September the 5th.
