Post mortem due on woman who died in Moycullen crash

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A post mortem is due to be carried out today on the body of a woman who died following a single-vehicle crash in Moycullen.
The crash happened at around 4.30 this morning just off the N59 Galway to Clifden Road when the car she was driving hit a wall.
A male passenger, aged in his early 50s, has been taken to UHG but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Both the man and the woman are believed to be from the area.
The N59 through Moycullen village was closed until around noon, but has since reopened following a technical examination of the scene.
Gardai in Salthill are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the N59 close to Moycullen between 4 and 5 this morning to contact them at 091-514720.
