POLITICIANS TO LOBBY FOR GALWAY FUNDING FOR TRANSPORT

Politicians have joined together to try and secure funding for sustainable transport in Galway.

Galway West Fianna Fáil T.D, Frank Fahey and Green Senator, Niall Ó Brolcháin have met with the Transport Minister, Noel Dempsey, to lobby for success for Galway in the bid.

The Smarter Travel Fund could offer millions of euro to Galway to promote travel initiatives such as quality bus corridors and park n’ ride facilities.
