Polish man jailed for assaulting ex partner in Tuam
Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man who seriously assaulted his ex-partner one week after she had given birth, has been sentenced to two years in prison with the final six months suspended.
34 year old Tomasz Smokowski, a Polish national, who lives with his mother at 1 High Street, Tuam, appeared before Galway Circuit Criminal Court.
He pleaded guilty to assaulting his Polish ex-partner at no. 2, Waterslade Downs, Tuam, in the early hours of January 25th last.
