PLASTIC SURGEON CONSULTANT TOPS GALWAY TAX DEFAULTERS LIST

A plastic surgeon consultant has topped the latest list of Galway tax defaulters, published by the Revenue today.

Thamir Ismael of La Villa, Woodstock, Bushypark made a settlement of over €137,000 for underdeclaration of income tax and a Revenue investigation case.

The latest tax defaulters list, which contains seven settlements from Galway, refers to the period from January 1st this year to March 31st.

After Thamir Ismael, the next biggest tax defaulter was Michael Monaghan, a retired farmer from Clonboo, Corrandulla, who made a settlement of almost €126,000 for underdeclaration of capital gains tax and a Revenue deposit interest reporting case.
