PLANS TO EXPAND JOYCE’S AT ATHENRY SHOPPING CENTRE

Galway businessman Pat Joyce is planning to expand the existing supermarket in Athenry Shopping Centre.

An application for permission has been sought to extend the existing supermarket in Block F by incorporating the existing four adjoining retail units in Block R.

It concerns a gross floor space of over 390 square metres.

County planners are due to make a decision on the proposed extension at the end of this month.
