Plans to create new city childcare facility

Galway Bay fm newsroom – There are plans to create a new childcare facility at Newcastle in the city.

An application has been lodged with city council for a change of use at 17 upper newcastle from a bed and breakfast to a sessional childcare and montessori unit.

Permission is also sought to complete a single storey chalet at the rear of the building.

Planners are due to make a decision on the plans next month.
