PLANS TO BUILD CARAVAN PARK IN SALTHILL AREA

City planners are expected to make a decision on plans to build a caravan park in the Salthill area early in the new year.

Plans have been lodged to demolish two existing buildings and to construct the caravan park at a site on Gentian Hill. 

It involves 29 caravan pitches, a reception building, parking and recreation areas.

Planners are expected to make a decision on the application in the next six to eight weeks. (14/02)
