PLANS SUBMITTED FOR NEW GALWEGIANS PITCHES

Plans have finally been submitted to Galway County Council for new grounds for Galwegians Rugby Club.

Rhatigan Developments Ltd. have applied for permission to build a clubhouse with a caretakers apartment, stands, 7 rugby pitches, a sand training facility, floodlighting and car parking.

The Club wants to move to a new facility because it has outgrown its previous home at Glenina in the city.

County Planners will decide on the plans for Galwegians Sportsground at Busypark next month.
