PLANS PROGRESS FOR WINDFARM OFF CONNEMARA COAST

Plans are moving forward to develop a large wind farm on rocks in the Atlantic, 9 miles west of Connemara.

An environmental impact statement relating to the project is on view in the public libraries in Roundstone, Inis Mór, Spiddal and An Cheathrú Rua, from today onwards.

The public now has an opportunity to view and make submissions about the plans for the wind farm until the end of February.
