Plans lodged for Primary Care Centre in Tuam
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Plans have been lodged for a new Primary Care Centre in Tuam.
The HSE has submitted an application to develop a site on Sean Purcell Road in the town.
The site lies within the grounds of the former Grove Hospital.
The development would see the construction of a two-storey building to accommodate a primary healthcare centre with a gross floor area of over 2500 square metres.
This would also contain medical consulting and treatment rooms, ancillary administrative areas, staff and patient facilities, storage, laundry and waste disposal areas.
County planners are due to make a decision next month.
