Plans for new Killererin community centre back on track

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Plans for a new community centre in Killererin are back on track.
The project had been removed from a list of potential projects eligible for funding from Galway Rural Development.
However Killererin Development Company appealed the decision a review committee was formed to assess that outcome.
A recommendation was made to re-instate the project for a community centre at Knock, Barnaderg.
Councillor Shaun Cunniffe says it’s vital that an application for funding for a community centre in Killererin is made immediately.
