Date Published: 12-Jan-2009
Despite the economic downturn plans have been drawn up to construct a hotel in the city centre.
The plans involve the demolition of two buildings in Nun’s Island, one of which is a resource centre for the long term unemployed.
The applicant, Geoff Canavan has applied for permission to demolish number 26 Canavan House and Number 34 Nun’s Island street.
Planners are due to make a decision on the boutique hotel and office blocks on Nun’s Island in the coming weeks.
