Galway Bay fm newsroom – There are plans to build a pedestrian and cyclist bridge in the Annagh Hill area in Kilmoylan.

Galway County Council has given notice of its intention to build the structure over the proposed M17 Galway to Tuam motorway.

The bridge will be a minimum of three metres wide and will be contained entirely within the lands of the confirmed compulsory purchase order for the M17 scheme.

The plans are now available for inspection at County Buildings on Prospect Hill.

All submissions must be received by January 9th next year.
