Plans for Corrundulla housing development rejected

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Plans for a housing development in Gortroe in Corrundulla have been refused.

Townland Properties Limited had sought to develop two detached houses and 14 semi-detached homes with a gross floor area of almost two thousand square metres.

Permission was refused by county planners based on five main considerations.

These include that the proposed development is haphazard and disorderly and would injure the visual amenity of the area.
