A second bid to build 28 holiday apartments at the rear of ‘The Nunnery’ in Portumna has failed

Barry and Marie O Brien were refused permission for the development at the site, formerly St. Joesph’s Convent at St. Brigid’s Avenue in Portumna

They then appealled the decision to An Bord Pleanála, but this second bid has now failed
